What You’ll Be Doing  Duties and Responsibilities:  Organize and maintain fencing and equipment in the yard and warehouse to ensure efficient flow and accessibility.  Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.  Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facility to support smooth equipment movement and operations. Safely load and secure temporary fencing for transport (and unload at jobsites and when returned to the branch yard).   Assist with loading and unloading other construction equipment as needed.  Deliver, install, remove, and pick up construction fence at customer locations in a safe and timely manner (often involves manually carrying fence panels a distance from the truck to the installation spot).  Clean fencing when it returns from customer jobsites.    Inspect equipment for damage upon return and notify supervisor or branch manager of damaged or broken fence materials.  Identify and report potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.  Safely operate equipment following all company policies and procedures. Coordinate with teammates at the branch to resolve inventory or order issues. Assist with the delivery of small tools and equipment to job sites for our general construction equipment branch if required. What You’ll Bring to the Team  Qualifications and Requirements:  2+ years of related work experience in a fence / scaffolding labourer, general labourer, yard coordinator, or similar role is preferred.    Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid Class G/5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request. Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools is an asset.   Forklift license or experience operating forklifts and/or other construction equipment is preferred.   Knowledge of construction tools, equipment and materials would be an asset.  Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices is an asset. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment. Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.  Comfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)
