The Opportunity

Build the Future with Us — Join a collaborative mechanical engineering team supporting HVAC and energy system projects across Ontario and beyond.

This role is designed for early‑career engineers who are eager to learn, build strong technical foundations, and contribute to real‑world projects that improve buildings and communities. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers on institutional, commercial, and infrastructure facilities, helping clients improve comfort, reduce energy use, and modernize essential systems.

You’ll gain hands‑on exposure across the full project lifecycle while being supported through mentorship, structured learning, and opportunities to grow your skills.

Your Impact

  • Support site visits and assessments to help inform mechanical and HVAC system designs.
  • Assist with mechanical design tasks including load calculations, ventilation sizing, and equipment selection.
  • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation with guidance from senior team members.
  • Contribute to coordinated project delivery by working closely with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Review shop drawings, support RFI responses, and assist with construction administration activities.
  • Produce mechanical drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD in accordance with codes and standards.
  • Support central plant and district energy system designs through calculations, layouts, and documentation.
  • Participate in internal design meetings and, over time, client discussions to build confidence and communication skills.
  • Assist with proposal and business development efforts, including technical input and fee support.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 0–4 years of mechanical or HVAC design experience (co‑op, internship, or consulting experience counts).
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and basic engineering calculation tools.
  • Interest in working toward P.Eng. licensure with support from mentors and structured development programs.
  • Foundational knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, CSA standards, and ASHRAE guidelines.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow technical skills in a collaborative consulting environment.
  • An interest in institutional, recreational, cultural, or sports facility projects is an asset.
